Tim the augment is your first video is ridiculous. If homosexuality was natural in any animals than they would no longer exists. What you did was take an isolated incident of a few penguins being held in captivity where they are not in their natural environment and because of this may of started to behave in an unnatural way. What you need to realize is that not only is homosexuality unnatural in a behavioral sense, it is a unnatural in a physiological sense. Humans and animals alike were made to produce in heterosexual relationships only. I don't see how you can argue against nature.

Tim Kilgore vs. E-Watchman Is Wicked Gay...
by Tuesday inhey there folks, another one of my attention getting titles.
i liked the charity videos but i think the most commented on video of mine is the one regarding homosexuality in nature.
e-watchman made a video response to the video which fell right into one of the stereotype answers i've gotten a hundred times on the video.

Death ... friend or enemy?
by The Berean inwithout a life expectancy, would mankind stagnate?
what incentive would there be to stay busy, set goals, desire a mate and children, or care for others who would never be in harms way?
why would we do anything today if we always had a tomorrow?could it be that death is natures prod and a necessary motivator of life and should be thus celebrated?.

Truly some odd logic here. If my goal in life was to find a cure for HIV/AIDS or Cancer or end world hunger, I don't see how death can help me achieve my goal. In other words if I lived for 800 years I'd have a much better chance at achieving my goals than living for 80 years.

Heaven & Hell
by kzjw ini'm having the whole heaven & hell discussion again w/ the wife...brought up matthew 25:41-46 as proof it exists, then the wife balked & looked to the friends for help.
the good news is that my wife now respects the fact that i won't read anything printed by the filthy slave, but the fight's still not fair.
can anyone give me more scriptures of the bible to use?

Sorry kzjw, we can't use the Bible to prove an imaginary place exsist. The verses that Chalam posted all speak of a destruction of the wicked, not of enternal consciousness where people will be torturedforever. There's so many things wrong with the whole hell doctrine: How can a spirit be harmed by fire? If Jesus is the only way to attain eternal life why do those who reject him still recieve eternal life in hell? If we have immortal souls what was the point of Jesus' sacrifice? I suggest you use serveral Encyclopedias and do some research on the word "Hades" and "Gehenna" and see what thse words met in Jesus' time. You will find that those words don't have the same meaning of the word hell in english Bibles.

DEEP DISCUSSION: Christ means annointed.........does this create a paradox?
by EndofMysteries inif you actually look at some interlinear new testament, you'll see in the direct greek to english translation, annointed, then you will see annointed is put in as christ.
if every instance of christ was replaced with annointed, how would many scriptures read?
well for one jesus would be called jesus annointed.

Well I don't have anything "deep" to say rather I'll just add just enough to clear some of this up. Jesus is not God and the Book Of Revelation isn't inspired by God and anything in the Book Of Revelation should not be taken as truth. Also the angels that Christians will judge are not the angels in heavens but the ones who sinned during Noah's day which are bound in Tartarus.

JW Apologists please tell me where your God was when .....
by wobble induring the dark days of the second world war , the monsters that ran a concentration camp decided to hang a child.. they hung the poor little chap so that it took half an hour for him to die, all the while making the other inmates look into the face of the child.. where was your god then ?
was he not strong enough to do anything or did he just not care ?.
if the first then he is a very weak god, if the second then,.

Wobble says "go back to my example of the old lady being robbed, yes , the would-be thief has responsibility if he is allowed to carry out the crime, but if I have it in the power of my hand to stop him, and I watch and do nothing, what kind of person does that make me, moral ?"
This isn't a good comparison since God is not a human and isn't physically on earth hence he doesn't interact with humans the way fellows humans do. Also the whole idea of stopping a bank robber being equal to taking someone's free will is flawed. That would be like me saying I tried to be a professional basketball player in the NBA but wasn't good enough to make the team so the coach took away my free will. I had the free will to try out for the team but just wasn't able to accomplish my goal, the same could be side for the bank robber if someone overpowered him.
Ak-Jeff says "Wow. Endless circles... I have not seen one salient argument from believers here."
Can you please point out the "circles" in my argument?

Wobble I don't understand why you're taking the issue about the kid be hanged up with God rather than the person who did it. I'll now ask you a personal question. Which kind of God would you prefer? One that controls our thoughts and actions or one that gives us free will and ultimately punish the wicked and reward the good in the end? Those of us who believe in the Bible know we have free will and when people choose to do evil it's because they want to. I don't understand why you try to let people who do evil of the hook by saying "God could of stop them but he didn't, so it's really God's fault rather than the person who choose to commit the evil act", to me that type of thinking makes no sense.
Free Will:The power of making free choices that are unconstrained by external circumstances or by an agency such as fate or divine will.

Happy Guy says "The warnings in the Old Testament against practicing black magic were directed at the Yahwehists (Jehovists) because this demon had wreaked so much havoc on the Israelites and the surrounding nations." So you're saying Yahweh told his followers not to pratice black magic so they couldn't follow him? Happy Guy must have one HUGE ass because he just pulled a ton of information out of it.

LucyA there is no point. This site is full of nothing but stupid, pointless, and sarcastic threads/post. You'll rarely find anything remotely intelligent on here.

Why weren't the rebellious angels destroyed?
by jabberwock innearly every living thing is drowned to death because of the badness and general mischief going on during noah's day.
why aren't the angels who materialized bodies and fathered a race of giant, violent freaks destroyed as well?.
i know that they, presumably, left their bodies just in time to escaped the flood, but that shouldn't be enough to escape the wrath of almighty god.. it's interesting that the genesis account says very little about them.

Excellent post Leolaia. Apparently you're the only regular on this site that has any real knowledge of the Bible. I was getting ready to start a thread answering jabberwock's question but you answered it so well there's nothing left to add.

nicolaou says: The 'god' of the Bible doesn't define what is good or bad - you and I do.
The second stupidest comment I've read on this site since I joined. So the people who believe it's okay to molest children are right, and the people who don't think it's to molest children are also right. Do you see how your logic makes no sense. Two opposing views can't both be correct. There are some things that are just wrong no matter what you or I think.
